Still Singing After All These Years-95th Anniversary
Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital (GSNC) produced a wonderful CD and accompanying songbook for the 95th Anniversary of Girl Scouts. Girls from around the country gathered at the Mall at the Washington Monument on June 9, 2007. The 2007 CD and Songbook are an update from the 1997 edition produced for the 85th Anniversary Celebration on May 31, 1997, and the 2002 edition produced for the 90th Anniversary Celebration on June 8, 2002.
Mrs. Kathy and Miss Julie’s old troop went to the 95th Anniversary Celebration! They had a grand time meeting girls from around the country and sharing SWAPS. The girls from Miss Julie’s old troop remember fondly singing. Each girl was given a songbook, and the troop practiced from the CD in preparation for the Sing-A-Long. We hope you will enjoy these songs as much as our old troop did.

GSCM Choir
The Girl Scouts of Central Maryland (GSCM) Choir is a council-wide activity for all ages. All girls are welcome to join without an audition, but Trefoil Singers (soloists) must pass an audition for pitch and volume. They perform all over Central Maryland and are always looking for new members. They have created a songbook, and recorded songs to help members learn their Chorus repertoire. Some of the songs have hand motions that accompany them and are marked with ‘*’. You can learn the motions by watching their videos on YouTube.
